Kirk R. Jocham
Attorney at Law
After years of working at law firms ranging in size from three attorneys to over 150 attorneys, Kirk decided it was time to hang a shingle of his own and open Jocham Law. Kirk provides big city service with small town personability. But, by staying up to speed on the latest technology, Kirk strives to advise his clients in the most cost effective and efficient ways. He likes to think creatively and look for not so typical, but practical, solutions. Not one to hide behind his desk, Kirk likes to get out there and get things done.
Of course, Kirk did get an education in life and in the law before becoming an attorney. First, he grew up in the small, southwest Indiana town of Fort Branch. Before going to law school, Kirk attended the University of Southern Indiana. After earning his undergraduate degree in Communications, Kirk went on to obtain his law degree from Indiana University. Now, he sets out to be the best lawyer he can be for you, your business, and your family.

Emily R. Jocham
Paralegal
Emily received her degree in Paralegal Studies in 2004. Since that time, Emily has spent the vast majority of her career assisting attorneys in litigation matters (and yes, that is how she and Kirk met!). Providing support to attorneys from both a defendant’s and a plaintiff’s perspective, Emily spent several years working for one of the largest specialized law firms in the nation, as well as some time working with a sole practitioner. Due to her varied exposure, Emily brings invaluable large-firm experience with personable small-firm values to Jocham Law.
In her role as Paralegal at Jocham Law, Emily offers support in a variety of ways – from meeting with and maintaining contact with clients, preparing various legal documents, performing legal research, and ensuring matters move along smoothly by providing any additional necessary support Kirk requires. Emily enjoys the “nuts and bolts” of a legal practice and is a consummate perfectionist. (She is also obsessed with grammar.) As a result, Emily provides extraordinary attention to detail in every matter with which she assists.
In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering for various roles at church, and singing (not well) along to every song on the radio. Admittedly, she is not as witty or as good at writing a self-bio as her husband, Kirk.
